Ingredients
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust (homemade or store-bought)
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp bourbon (optional)
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie pan and set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Stir in melted butter, flour, vanilla extract, bourbon (if using), and salt. Mix until well combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips and chopped nuts.
- Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust and spread evenly.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
