Description

Lemon Butter Baked Salmon is a quick, elegant dish featuring flaky salmon fillets baked in a zesty lemon garlic butter sauce. Perfect for weeknights or special dinners, it’s a healthy, flavorful way to enjoy seafood with minimal prep.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (skin-on or skinless)
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley or dill, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon slices (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Place salmon fillets in the baking dish, skin-side down if using skin-on fillets.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl or small saucepan, melt the butter. Stir in lemon juice, zest, garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the lemon butter mixture evenly over the salmon fillets.
  5. Optionally, place thin lemon slices on top of each fillet.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until salmon flakes easily with a fork and is fully cooked.
  7. Remove from oven, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve warm.
