Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (skin-on or skinless)
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley or dill, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon slices (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- Place salmon fillets in the baking dish, skin-side down if using skin-on fillets.
- In a microwave-safe bowl or small saucepan, melt the butter. Stir in lemon juice, zest, garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the lemon butter mixture evenly over the salmon fillets.
- Optionally, place thin lemon slices on top of each fillet.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until salmon flakes easily with a fork and is fully cooked.
- Remove from oven, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve warm.
