Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk or buttermilk
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease silicone donut molds.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs, sugar, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined—do not overmix.
- Pipe or spoon the batter into the prepared donut molds, filling each about 3/4 full.
- Place the molds into the air fryer basket and cook for 8–10 minutes, or until the donuts are golden and spring back when touched.
- Let the donuts cool slightly before removing them from the molds.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, lemon juice, and zest until smooth to make the glaze.
- Dip each cooled donut into the glaze, let the excess drip off, and place on a wire rack until the glaze sets.
Notes
