- 1 1/2 cups cold water
- 3 cups heavy cream
- 1 (12 oz) box vanilla wafers
- 4–5 ripe bananas, sliced
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the pudding mix, cold water, and sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until the pudding is fully set.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the chilled pudding mixture until light and fluffy.
- In a trifle dish or large bowl, layer vanilla wafers, sliced bananas, and pudding mixture.
- Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of pudding on top.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (overnight is best) before serving.
Notes
For best results, assemble the pudding at least a day ahead so the wafers soften.Slice bananas just before layering to slow browning.Individual portions can be made in jars or cups for easy serving.Do not freeze, as the bananas and whipped cream will lose texture.
