Description

Marinated Steak Bites are tender, juicy chunks of beef soaked in a savory marinade and quickly seared to perfection. They’re perfect for appetizers, quick dinners, or adding to salads and bowls, offering bold flavor in every bite.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 12 tablespoons butter (for searing)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl or zip-top bag, combine soy sauce, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, brown sugar, black pepper, onion powder, paprika, and salt.
  2. Add steak pieces and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 8 hours.
  3. Remove steak from marinade and pat dry with paper towels.
  4. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and melt the butter.
  5. Add steak bites in a single layer without overcrowding. Sear for 1–2 minutes per side until browned and cooked to desired doneness.
  6. Remove from heat and let rest for 2 minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.

Notes

Don’t overcrowd the pan—cook in batches if needed to get a good sear.Use a meat thermometer to check doneness: 130°F for medium-rare, 140°F for medium.Resting the meat helps keep it juicy.Use tender cuts like sirloin, ribeye, or New York strip for best results.Patting the steak dry before searing helps create a nice crust.
