Description

Marry Me Chicken is a creamy, flavorful dish featuring tender chicken breasts simmered in a rich sun-dried tomato parmesan sauce. Easy to make in one pan, it’s perfect for romantic dinners, entertaining, or upgrading your weeknight meals.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/3 cup sun-dried tomatoes (in oil, drained and chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • Fresh basil, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. Lower heat to medium. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the skillet.
  5. Stir in heavy cream, parmesan cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, red pepper flakes, and oregano. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top. Simmer for 3–5 more minutes to blend flavors.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil and serve hot with pasta, rice, or bread.

Notes

Use boneless thighs for extra tenderness.Spinach can be added to the sauce for color and nutrients.Substitute white wine for some broth for deeper flavor. For a low-carb option, serve with cauliflower mash or zucchini noodles.Store leftovers with a splash of broth to help reheat the sauce smoothly.
