Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups elbow macaroni (uncooked)
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 2 cups beef broth or water
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- In a large pot or Dutch oven, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Add diced onion and minced garlic; cook until softened and fragrant.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then stir in the uncooked elbow macaroni.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer until pasta is tender, about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- If desired, stir in shredded cheddar cheese or sprinkle on top before serving.
