Description

A creamy, fizzy, and sweet orange dreamsicle punch made with orange soda, pineapple juice, and vanilla ice cream. This nostalgic party drink tastes just like the frozen treat and is perfect for celebrations, showers, or family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 liters orange soda
  • 3 cups pineapple juice
  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream
  • Whipped topping, for garnish (optional)
  • Orange slices or maraschino cherries, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large punch bowl, pour in orange soda and pineapple juice. Stir gently to combine.
  2. Add scoops of vanilla ice cream into the punch. Let it melt slightly to create a creamy, frothy texture.
  3. Stir lightly, then top with whipped topping if desired.
  4. Garnish with orange slices or maraschino cherries.
  5. Serve immediately with a ladle into glasses.

Notes

Best served fresh—don’t prepare too far in advance, as soda will lose fizz and ice cream will melt.Use diet orange soda or sparkling water with orange juice for a lighter version.Try orange sherbet instead of vanilla ice cream for a tangier flavor. To keep punch cold during a party, add ice cream just before serving an keep extra soda chilled.Dairy free ice cream can be used to make this recipe dairy free.
