Original Fantasy Fudge is a classic, creamy chocolate fudge made with marshmallow creme, chocolate chips, and evaporated milk. This easy stovetop treat is perfect for holidays, gifting, or indulging your sweet tooth.
Ingredients
- 3 cups granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk
- 12 oz (2 cups) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 jar (7 oz) marshmallow creme
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions
- Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with foil or parchment paper and lightly grease it.
- In a large heavy saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar, butter, and evaporated milk.
- Bring the mixture to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 4–5 minutes while continuing to stir.
- Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until melted and smooth.
- Add marshmallow creme and vanilla extract. Stir until fully combined and creamy.
- Fold in chopped walnuts if using.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Allow the fudge to cool at room temperature for 3–4 hours or until fully set.
- Once set, lift the fudge from the pan, cut into squares, and serve or store.
