Ingredients
- 1 can refrigerated pizza dough or crescent roll dough
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce or marinara
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese or 8 pieces of string cheese
- 24 slices pepperoni or other toppings (optional)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- 1 tbsp olive oil or melted butter (for brushing)
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the dough and cut into 8 rectangles or triangles, depending on the dough type.
- Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on each piece of dough.
- Top with shredded mozzarella or a piece of string cheese.
- Add 3 slices of pepperoni or other toppings to each.
- Roll up tightly, starting from the wider end if using crescent dough.
- Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
- Brush tops with olive oil or melted butter and sprinkle with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and Parmesan if using.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Let cool slightly and serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
