Description
Pizza Sliders are mini sandwiches filled with marinara, gooey cheese, and your favorite pizza toppings, baked inside soft slider buns. They’re fun, portable, and perfect for snacks, parties, or easy dinners.
Ingredients
- 12 slider buns or small dinner rolls, sliced in half
- 1 cup marinara or pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 24 pepperoni slices (or toppings of choice)
- 3 tbsp butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder or garlic salt
- 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning or oregano
- Optional: 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place bottom halves of slider buns in a baking dish.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce over each bottom bun.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella evenly on top of the sauce.
- Add pepperoni or other toppings as desired.
- Place top halves of buns over the sliders.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
- Brush seasoned butter over the tops of the buns.
- Optional: Sprinkle grated Parmesan on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 10–12 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, until cheese is melted and tops are golden.
- Serve warm with extra marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
Use soft slider buns that hold together well after baking.Customize with different cheeses or toppings like veggies or olives.Don’t overdo the sauce to prevent soggy buns.Make ahead and refrigerate unbaked sliders for up to 1 day.
