Ingredients
- 1 lb breakfast sausage (mild or spicy)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup diced green chilies or jalapeños (optional)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Tortilla chips or crackers, for serving
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until browned and crumbly. Drain excess grease.
- In a large bowl, mix together cream cheese, sour cream, cooked sausage, cheddar, mozzarella, green chilies, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer mixture to a baking dish or slow cooker.
- Bake at 350°F for 20–25 minutes (or cook in slow cooker on low for 2 hours) until bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with chopped green onions.
- Serve hot with tortilla chips or crackers.
