Description

Salmon Bites are tender, seasoned chunks of salmon that are pan-seared, baked, or air-fried until crispy outside and juicy inside. Quick to prepare, they’re a healthy, flavorful option perfect for meals, snacks, or appetizers.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb skinless salmon fillets, cut into bite-sized chunks
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice or 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Optional: 1 tsp soy sauce
  • Optional: 1 tsp honey
  • Optional: pinch of chili flakes or fresh herbs (dill, parsley)

Instructions

  1. Pat salmon pieces dry and place in a bowl.
  2. Drizzle with olive oil and season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Add optional ingredients if using. Toss to coat evenly.
  3. For pan-searing: Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Cook salmon bites for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  4. For baking: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange salmon on a lined baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes.
  5. For air frying: Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Cook salmon bites in a single layer for 7–9 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  6. Serve hot with lemon wedges, over rice, in tacos, or with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Use fully thawed salmon and pat dry for best texture.Add soy sauce and honey for a sweet and savory twist.Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.Reheat in skillet, oven, or air fryer to retain crispness—avoid microwaving.Serve with tartar sauce, sriracha mayo, or over rice bowls and salads.
