Description

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 small tomato, chopped (optional)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
  • 1 small jalapeño or serrano pepper, finely chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
  2. Mash the avocado with a fork until you reach your desired consistency—chunky or smooth.
  3. Add lime juice and salt, then stir to combine.
