Description

S’mores Mug Cake is a warm, gooey, single-serve dessert that transforms classic campfire flavors—graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows—into a quick and easy microwave treat. Perfect for when you’re craving something sweet in minutes.


Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/4 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil or melted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
  • 23 tablespoons mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. In a 10–12 oz microwave-safe mug, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add milk, oil or butter, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and combined.
  3. Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs evenly over the top of the batter.
  4. Add chocolate chips on top of the crumbs.
  5. Top with mini marshmallows.
  6. Microwave on high for 1 minute and 15 seconds to 1 minute and 30 seconds, until the cake is set and marshmallows are puffed.
  7. Let cool for 1–2 minutes and enjoy warm straight from the mug.

Notes

Use a large (10–12 oz) mug to avoid overflow.Add peanut butter or Nutella to the center for a gooey twist.For extra richness, use chocolate milk instead of regular milk.Swirl in marshmallow fluff if mini marshmallows are unavailable.Top with a drizzle of caramel sauce or a graham crumb streusel for added flair.
