Snickers Protein Balls are no-bake energy bites inspired by the classic candy bar, combining chocolate, peanut butter, and protein for a sweet and satisfying snack.
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup protein powder (vanilla or chocolate)
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 2 tbsp mini dark chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp chopped peanuts
- 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: sea salt for topping
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, protein powder, cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt.
- Add peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir until a thick dough forms.
- Fold in mini chocolate chips and chopped peanuts.
- Roll mixture into bite-sized balls using your hands or a small cookie scoop.
- Place on a parchment-lined plate or baking sheet.
- Optionally, sprinkle a small pinch of sea salt on top of each ball.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow them to set before serving.
Notes
Wet or lightly oil your hands to prevent sticking while rolling.Use gluten-free oats if needed to make the recipe gluten-free.Store in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months.Enjoy chilled or at room temperature; no reheating required.
