Description

This Spicy Sriracha White Bean Dip is a creamy, protein-packed appetizer made with white beans, sriracha, and fresh lemon juice. Bold, smooth, and easy to prepare, this spicy white bean dip is perfect for dipping, spreading, or adding a flavorful kick to your snacks.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (400 g) white beans (cannellini or great northern), drained and rinsed
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 to 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  • 1 to 3 tablespoons water (as needed for consistency)
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Add the white beans, sriracha, olive oil, lemon juice, and garlic to a food processor. Blend until smooth.
  • Scrape down the sides and blend again until creamy and well combined.
  • Add salt, black pepper, cumin, and smoked paprika if using. Blend to incorporate.
  • If the dip is too thick, add water a little at a time and blend until you reach your desired consistency.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning, adding more sriracha if you prefer extra heat.
  • Transfer to a serving bowl, drizzle with olive oil if desired, and garnish with fresh herbs.
  • Serve immediately or chill slightly before serving.

Notes

Adjust the sriracha to control the spice level. For an oil-free version, replace olive oil with water or a small amount of tahini.Blending longer helps achieve an ultra-smooth texture.Roasted garlic can be used for a milder, sweeter flavor.Add roasted red peppers for a smoky twist.
