Ingredients
- 1 can (400 g) white beans (cannellini or great northern), drained and rinsed
- 1 to 2 tablespoons sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 to 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
- 1 to 3 tablespoons water (as needed for consistency)
- Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Add the white beans, sriracha, olive oil, lemon juice, and garlic to a food processor. Blend until smooth.
- Scrape down the sides and blend again until creamy and well combined.
- Add salt, black pepper, cumin, and smoked paprika if using. Blend to incorporate.
- If the dip is too thick, add water a little at a time and blend until you reach your desired consistency.
- Taste and adjust seasoning, adding more sriracha if you prefer extra heat.
- Transfer to a serving bowl, drizzle with olive oil if desired, and garnish with fresh herbs.
- Serve immediately or chill slightly before serving.
