Description

Ingredients

  • 2 steaks (ribeye, strip, filet mignon, or sirloin)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, smashed (optional)
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary or thyme (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Let the steaks sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  3. Pat the steaks dry with paper towels.
  4. Season both sides of the steaks generously with salt and black pepper.
