Description

This moist and flavorful Strawberry Bread is the perfect quick bread for breakfast, a snack, or a sweet treat. Packed with fresh strawberries, it has a tender crumb and a delightful cinnamon-vanilla flavor. Easy to make and incredibly versatile, this bread will quickly become a family favorite.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • ½ tsp salt

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • ½ cup sour cream or plain yogurt

  • 1 ½ cups fresh strawberries
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and set aside.

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.

  • In a large bowl, cream together the eggs, sugar, and softened butter until smooth and fluffy.

  • Add the vanilla extract and sour cream (or yogurt) to the egg mixture, mixing until combined.

  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until incorporated. Be careful not to overmix.

  • Gently fold in the chopped strawberries and nuts (if using), ensuring even distribution throughout the batter.

  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.

  • Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  • Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
