Description

Ingredients

  • 6 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, toss sliced strawberries with sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Spread evenly into a greased baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Cut in the butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Sprinkle the oat topping evenly over the strawberry mixture.
  5. Bake for 35–40 minutes, until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
