Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 ½ cups gluten-free flour blend
- ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup plant-based milk
- ⅓ cup coconut oil or vegetable oil
- ½ cup maple syrup or agave syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup dairy-free chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease or line a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- Add plant-based milk, oil, maple syrup (or agave), and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together gluten-free flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in dairy-free chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 45–55 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool completely before slicing and serving.
