Description

This Turkey Cranberry Croissant Panini is a warm, buttery sandwich filled with tender turkey, sweet-tart cranberry sauce, and melted brie or Swiss cheese, all pressed inside a flaky croissant. It’s the perfect way to transform holiday leftovers into a gourmet-style meal that feels comforting, elegant, and incredibly satisfying.

Ingredients

  • 2 large croissants, sliced in half

  • 1 ½ cups cooked turkey breast, sliced

  • ¼ cup cranberry sauce

  • 4–6 slices brie cheese or Swiss cheese

  • ½ cup baby spinach or arugula (optional)

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

Instructions

  • Preheat a panini press or heat a skillet over medium heat.

  • Lightly butter the outside of each croissant half.

  • Spread cranberry sauce evenly on the inside of the bottom halves.

  • Layer sliced turkey over the cranberry sauce.

  • Add brie or Swiss cheese on top of the turkey.

  • Add a handful of spinach or arugula if desired.

  • Close the croissant with the top half.

  • Place the sandwich in the panini press and cook for 3–5 minutes, until golden and the cheese is melted.

    • If using a skillet, press gently with a spatula and cook 2–3 minutes per side until crisp and heated through.

  • Remove from heat, let cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Croissants brown quickly, so cook over medium or medium-low heat.Brie creates a creamy, rich texture, while Swiss adds a slightly nutty contrast.Add thinly sliced apple or pear for extra sweetness and crunch.A thin layer of Dijon mustard adds subtle tang and depth.Best enjoyed fresh for maximum crispness.
