Turkey Oreo Balls are festive no-bake treats made with crushed Oreos and cream cheese, dipped in chocolate, and decorated to look like adorable turkeys. They’re fun, easy to make, and perfect for Thanksgiving parties or family gatherings.
Ingredients
- 36 Oreo cookies
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 16 oz semisweet or milk chocolate melting wafers
- Candy eyes
- Candy corn (for feathers and beak)
- Red decorating gel or red candy (for wattle)
- Mini pretzels or chocolate chips (optional, for base or wings)
Instructions
- Crush Oreo cookies in a food processor until fine crumbs form.
- In a bowl, mix crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese until fully combined into a smooth mixture.
- Roll into small balls (about 1 inch) and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Freeze the balls for 20–30 minutes to firm up.
- Melt chocolate wafers according to package instructions.
- Dip each Oreo ball into melted chocolate, letting the excess drip off, then return to parchment paper.
- Immediately decorate each ball to resemble a turkey: press 3–5 candy corn pieces into the back for feathers, attach two candy eyes, place one candy corn piece as a beak, and add red decorating gel or candy for the wattle.
- Allow chocolate to harden completely before serving or storing.
