Ingredients
- 2 tbsp instant coffee
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp hot water
- 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp chocolate syrup or melted chocolate (optional)
- Ice (optional, for iced version)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine instant coffee, sugar, and hot water in equal parts (2 tbsp each).
- Whip the mixture using a hand whisk, electric mixer, or milk frother until it becomes light, frothy, and forms stiff peaks.
- In a serving glass, heat the milk if making a hot drink, or pour it over ice for a cold version.
- Stir in cocoa powder and chocolate syrup or melted chocolate into the milk until fully dissolved.
- Spoon the whipped coffee mixture on top of the chocolate milk base.
