Ingredients
- Cooked rice (preferably day-old)
- Beef, thinly sliced
- Broccoli florets
- Olive oil or sesame oil
- Garlic, minced
- Ginger, grated
- Soy sauce
- Oyster sauce
- Eggs
- Green onions, chopped
- Salt
- Black pepper

- Chili flakes
- Sesame seeds
- Carrots
- Bell peppers
Instructions
- Heat a large pan or wok over medium-high heat and add oil.
- Add sliced beef and cook quickly until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add more oil if needed and sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant.
- Add broccoli and cook for a few minutes until tender-crisp.
- Push vegetables to one side, crack in the eggs, and scramble until cooked.
- Add cooked rice, breaking up clumps, and stir to combine.
- Return beef to the pan and add soy sauce and oyster sauce. Stir well to coat.
- Cook for a few minutes until heated through and flavors are absorbed.
- Stir in green onions and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds or chili flakes if desired.
Notes
Day-old rice works best for a non-sticky texture.Cook over high heat for authentic fried rice flavor.Add a splash of soy sauce or water when reheating if needed.
