Ingredients
12 oz (340 g) noodles (spaghetti, ramen, or rice noodles)
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons lime juice
1 teaspoon lime zest
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1–2 teaspoons chili paste or chili flakes (adjust to taste)
1 teaspoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 green onions, chopped
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
1 cup cooked chicken, shrimp, or tofu (optional)
Instructions
Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a small bowl, mix lime juice, lime zest, soy sauce, brown sugar, and chili paste or flakes.
Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
Pour in the prepared sauce and let it simmer for about 1 minute to blend the flavors.
Add the cooked noodles and toss well until evenly coated.
Drizzle with sesame oil and mix again.
Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Stir in green onions and any optional cooked protein. Serve immediately.
