- Chicken breast or thighs, cooked and shredded
- Chipotle peppers in adobo sauce

- Refried beans
- Lettuce, shredded
- Tomatoes, diced

Instructions
- In a blender or food processor, combine chipotle peppers, adobo sauce, olive oil, garlic, lime juice, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add shredded chicken and chipotle sauce, cooking for 5–7 minutes until heated through and well coated.
- Warm refried beans in a saucepan or microwave until smooth.
- Spread a layer of refried beans over each tostada shell.
- Top with chipotle chicken, followed by lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, avocado, and cilantro.
- Finish with sour cream or crema and crumbled cheese.
