Ingredients
- 1 kg beef steak (sirloin, flank, or ribeye)
- 6 cups mixed salad greens
- 2 cucumbers, sliced
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 large red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup fresh mint, chopped
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 3 tbsp fish sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1–2 red chilies, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Season the beef with salt and black pepper.
- Heat vegetable oil in a grill pan or skillet over high heat and cook beef to desired doneness. Remove and let rest.
- Slice the beef thinly against the grain.
- In a large bowl, combine salad greens, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and red onion.
- In a separate bowl, whisk lime juice, fish sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and red chili to make the dressing.
- Add sliced beef to the salad and pour dressing over. Toss gently to combine.
- Add mint and cilantro, toss lightly, and transfer to a serving platter.
- Serve immediately.
