Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast or thighs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 cup flour or breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Oil for frying

Hot Honey Sauce:

  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 23 tbsp hot sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Set up a breading station with beaten eggs and flour or breadcrumbs.
  • Dip chicken into eggs, then coat in flour or breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken until golden brown and fully cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  • In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in honey, hot sauce, red pepper flakes, and apple cider vinegar. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Drizzle or toss the cooked chicken in the hot honey sauce until well coated.
  • Serve immediately with your favorite sides.
