Ingredients

  • 200250g ladyfingers (savoiardi)
  • ½ cup limoncello liqueur
  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 250g mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: white chocolate shavings for garnish
  • Optional: extra lemon zest for topping

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix limoncello with fresh lemon juice to create the soaking liquid.
  • In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.

  • Smooth the top, cover, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (preferably overnight).
  • Garnish with white chocolate shavings or extra lemon zest before serving.
