Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish
Instructions
Season the salmon fillets with salt and black pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the salmon and sear for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
Add sun-dried tomatoes and cook for about 1 minute to release their flavor.
Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer.
Stir in Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer until the sauce thickens slightly.
Return the salmon to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the fillets. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until heated through.
Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and serve immediately.
