Ingredients

  • 4 halibut fillets
  • ½ cup shelled pistachios, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 23 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, combine chopped pistachios, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, lemon zest, garlic, and parsley.
  • Drizzle in olive oil or melted butter and mix until crumbly.
  • Pat halibut fillets dry and season with salt and black pepper.
  • Place fillets on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Press the pistachio mixture firmly onto the top of each fillet.
  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Optional: Broil for 1–2 minutes for a golden crust.
  • Serve immediately with fresh lemon wedges.
