Ingredients
For the sea bass:
- 2–3 sea bass fillets
- 1–2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
For the citrus salsa:
- 1 orange, segmented and chopped
- 1 grapefruit, segmented and chopped
- 1–2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 tablespoons red onion, finely diced
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
- 1 small jalapeño, finely chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the citrus salsa: In a bowl, combine orange and grapefruit segments, lime juice, red onion, cilantro, honey (if using), and jalapeño (if using). Mix gently and set aside.
- Pat sea bass fillets dry and season with salt and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté briefly until fragrant.
- Place sea bass fillets in the pan (skin-side down if applicable) and cook for 3–4 minutes per side, until opaque and flaky.
- Remove fish from the pan and plate.
- Spoon citrus salsa generously over each fillet.
- Serve immediately while warm.
