Ingredients
- 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
- 1 cup (200g) sugar
- 3 eggs
- ½ cup (120ml) melted butter or oil
- 1 cup (240ml) milk
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1–2 cups whipped cream or frosting
- Chocolate Easter eggs (for decoration)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a cake pan.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add melted butter (or oil), milk, and vanilla extract; mix well.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, stirring until smooth.
- Pour batter into prepared pan.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely.
- Spread whipped cream or frosting evenly over the cake.
- Decorate with chocolate Easter eggs.
