Description

Strawberry Panna Cotta is a smooth and creamy Italian-inspired dessert topped with a fresh strawberry sauce. This easy Strawberry Panna Cotta recipe is light, elegant, and perfect for entertaining, combining rich creaminess with bright, fruity flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp gelatin (powder or equivalent sheets)
  • 2 tbsp cold water (for blooming gelatin)
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries
  • 12 tbsp sugar (for topping)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Instructions

  • Bloom the gelatin by sprinkling it over cold water and let sit for 5 minutes.
  • In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, milk, and sugar. Heat gently until sugar dissolves—do not boil.
  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved.
  • Pour the mixture into serving glasses or molds.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
  • Blend strawberries with sugar and lemon juice until smooth. Strain if desired.
  • Spoon strawberry sauce over the set panna cotta.
  • Serve chilled.

Notes

Do not boil the cream mixture to maintain a smooth texture.Ensure gelatin is fully dissolved to achieve proper setting.Adjust sweetness in the strawberry topping to taste.
