Description

This Brioche French Toast is a rich and indulgent breakfast made with buttery brioche bread soaked in a creamy custard and cooked until golden perfection. Soft on the inside and lightly crisp on the outside, this easy brioche French toast recipe is perfect for brunch or a special morning treat.


Ingredients

  • 68 slices brioche bread
  • 3 large eggs
  • ¾ cup milk or heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • Butter (for cooking)

Optional toppings:

  • Maple syrup
  • Fresh berries
  • Powdered sugar
  • Whipped cream
  • Sliced bananas

Instructions

  • In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk or cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  • Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and add butter.
  • Dip each slice of brioche into the custard, coating both sides lightly.
  • Place soaked bread onto the hot skillet.
  • Cook until golden brown on one side, then flip and cook the other side.
  • Add more butter as needed between batches.
